A calmer, more supported motherhood starts with care that’s both warm and clinical.
I’m Erica Battista, a Florida Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the PMH-C credential and a childbirth educator. I built Maternal Mind & Wellness for the season of life that asks the most of you and tells you the least about how to survive it.
My Story
Built for the work, grounded in the work.
Maternal Mind & Wellness was created for the tender, high-stakes season of pregnancy and postpartum – when your mind can feel louder, your body feels unfamiliar, and the expectations can be relentless. Here, we hold space for the full reality: the love, the grief, the fear, the rage, the numbness, and the quiet moments in between.
My work is evidence-informed and deeply human. I use practical, research-supported methods selected around your goals, history, and readiness while honoring your story, values, and the way you want to move through motherhood. You won’t be rushed, talked down to, or handed generic advice.
Whether you’re preparing for birth, recovering from a difficult experience, navigating intrusive thoughts, or simply trying to feel like yourself again, we’ll build a plan that fits your life. The goal isn’t perfection – it’s steadiness, support, and a sense of safety in your own mind.
I bring both clinical training and hands-on birth-support experience to this work. In therapy, that can provide practical context about birth and postpartum while the treatment plan remains grounded in your clinical needs, goals, and informed consent.

Therapy here is not generic, and it is not a script. Every plan is built specifically around the person in front of me – the season they’re in, the support they have, the work they want to do.
A clear, collaborative treatment plan.
No guesswork. We define what we’re working on, how we’ll know we’re making progress, and what tools belong in your hands.
Tools you can actually use.
Practical, research-supported techniques you can apply between sessions – even on three hours of sleep, even with a baby on your chest.
A calm, discreet experience.
Streamlined onboarding, telehealth for clients located in Florida, or in-person care in Boca Raton.
