Privacy Policy

This policy describes what the Maternal Mind website, mobile app, and Community collect and how that information is used. It applies to Maternal Mind & Wellness (www.maternalmindandwellness.com) and the course and booking features offered here.

Important: this website is not your therapy record

Other than the optional Thrizer benefits calculator described below, this public website is not intended for clinical records or detailed health information. Please do not submit diagnoses, symptoms, treatment details, or emergency information through the contact or consultation forms. If you become a therapy client, Erica will explain the separate systems and privacy practices used for clinical care.

What we collect

Contact form: your name, email, phone number, preferred reply method, general topic, and an optional brief note. Consultation booking: your name, email, phone number, chosen time, and an optional brief note. Course accounts: your email address, sign-in activity, and lesson progress. Purchases: handled by our payment processors; we receive your email, the product purchased, and payment status, but never your card number. Benefits calculator: if you choose to use it, insurance and identifying information is entered directly into Thrizer's embedded service to estimate out-of-network benefits.

Community: your account email, chosen username, optional public bio, posts, replies, support reactions, reports, moderation status, member blocks, and related timestamps. Community posts and replies are visible to signed-in Community members under your chosen username. Your account email is not shown publicly.

Email updates: if you opt in, we keep your email address, name, consent source and time, audience tags, delivery status, and limited engagement information such as whether an email was opened or a link was clicked. We also retain unsubscribe, bounce, and complaint records so those addresses are not emailed again.

How we use it

To respond to inquiries, schedule consultations, send related confirmations or reminders, provide course access you purchased, and operate the website. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising. Community data is used to publish the content you choose to share, operate member safety features, filter and moderate content, investigate reports, enforce Community standards, and send account or Community notifications. If you opt in to email updates, we use this information to send and improve those updates and to honor suppression requests.

Community safety, retention, and deletion

Community posts and replies may be filtered, reported, blocked, reviewed, removed, or retained when reasonably needed for safety, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or the integrity of a moderation record. Member block lists are visible only to the member who created them and authorized systems that enforce the block. Community account data is otherwise kept while the account is active or as needed to provide the service.

You may permanently delete the unified Community and Academy sign-in from the Community account controls in the mobile app. You may also initiate deletion through our account deletion form. In-app deletion is immediate and removes the sign-in, Community profile and content, and Academy progress. Purchase and transaction records may be retained where legally or operationally required. Separate clinical records follow applicable healthcare record-retention requirements and are not erased by deleting an app account.

Services we rely on

Supabase (account, course, and booking data hosting), Stripe (payment processing), Google Calendar (consultation scheduling), SendGrid (website inquiry, transactional, and opted-in marketing email delivery), Vercel (website hosting), YouTube (embedded course videos), and Thrizer (benefit verification and optional out-of-network payment and claim support). Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices when their services are used. Review Thrizer's Privacy Policy before using the calculator.

Cookies

The site uses essential browser storage or cookies when needed to keep course and admin users signed in and to protect those sessions. Third-party checkout or video services, including the embedded benefits calculator, may use their own cookies when you open or interact with them. The site does not currently use advertising cookies.

Your choices

You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and data. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and one-click unsubscribe requests are honored across future campaigns and automations. Email hello@maternalmindandwellness.com and we will respond promptly. Community members can start a deletion request directly from the mobile app or the account deletion page.

Children

This website and its services are intended for adults 18 and older.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated. Material changes will be noted on this page.
