At a glance
We aim to make content useful, accurately scoped, and easy to question. We do not add a clinical reviewer, author credit, or fresh date unless that work actually happened.
What these standards cover
These standards apply to public service information, educational articles, Academy information, and other resources published by Maternal Mind & Wellness. Business details such as availability, fees, and service location should be checked against the relevant service or contact page because they can change.
Sources and evidence
For material health and mental health claims, we prioritize current primary and authoritative sources. Depending on the topic, these may include government health agencies, professional organizations, academic medical institutions, and peer-reviewed research. Sources should be close enough to the relevant claim that a reader can understand what supports it.
Evidence is not always complete or uniform. When research is limited, evolving, or dependent on individual circumstances, the content should say so rather than present professional perspective as settled fact.
Authorship and professional perspective
A named author is shown only when that person meaningfully contributed to the content. Erica Battista’s professional training and perspective may inform content where relevant, but professional perspective is not a substitute for evidence and should not be presented as one. Credentials and scope information can be reviewed on the About page.
Review labels
We name a reviewer only when that person actually reviewed the material and the review is relevant to their qualifications. A page without a named reviewer should not be understood as clinically reviewed. We do not use automatic or invented clinical review labels.
Publication and update dates
A published or updated date should reflect meaningful editorial work, such as a substantive factual review, changed guidance, new sourcing, or a material revision. Routine formatting, design, or spelling changes do not justify making content appear newly updated.
Images and examples
Editorial images on this website may be generated or staged for illustration. They are not photographs of Erica, therapy clients, Academy students, office sessions, or treatment outcomes unless a caption clearly and truthfully says otherwise. We do not use invented client stories as clinical evidence.
Corrections
If you find a possible factual error, unclear statement, broken source, or scope concern, please use our contact page. Include the page URL and the specific passage or issue. Please do not include private health or treatment details. We will assess the concern and make a correction when the available evidence supports one.
Therapy, education, and crisis boundaries
Website articles, downloads, and the Unfiltered Birth Academy are educational. They are not psychotherapy, medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for care from your own qualified professionals. Educational resources may be available beyond Florida, but therapy services are for clients located in Florida. Learn more about the distinction on our Services page and Academy page.
This website is not an emergency service and is not monitored for crisis care. In the United States, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. If there is immediate danger, call 911.
Commercial context
Maternal Mind & Wellness publishes this website and offers both professional services and paid educational products. Content may link to a relevant service, consultation, or Academy resource. Those links do not change the standard for accurate scope, sourcing, or clear separation between education and clinical care.
